A little bit about me…

Hi, I am Tara Lovett. I am a dedicated advocate with over 5 years of experience supporting the elderly population. My goal is to help older adults better understand the services available to them and how to benefit from both Medicare and Medicaid. I evaluate each client to determine which options are best suited to my clients’ needs. As a licensed Medicare broker, I specialize in helping seniors find the insurance plans that provide the most benefit, ensuring they receive the care necessary to maintain their quality of life, whether it be at home or in a congregate residence. My experience working in the home care industry and in Elder Law as an advocate, allows me to navigate and understand the complicated system that families have to deal with for their loved ones to receive care as older adults.

Alongside my professional work, I shares my compassion through my therapy dog, Lucy, where we visit nursing homes, colleges, and hospitals to offer comfort and companionship to those who want it.

They assist clients in understanding different Medicare options, such as Original Medicare (Part A and Part B), Medicare Advantage (Part C), Prescription Drug Plans (Part D), and Medicare Supplement plans (Medigap).

I provide personalized advice based on the client's health needs, budget, and preferences, helping them compare coverage options from various insurance providers. My goal is to simplify the Medicare selection process and ensure clients select the most suitable plan for their healthcare needs.

Medicare Insurance Plans

Medicaid offers services for those who are disabled. I work alongside Elder Law attorneys who make clients eligible for Medicaid. I provide guidance on the eligibility requirements, application process, and necessary documentation needed to qualify for Medicaid services for extended care, such as nursing home care, home health services, community habilitation, or assisted living.

I assist with the Medicaid long term care evaluations. I evaluate and advocate for my clients to maximize hours approved by Medicaid.
